Job Overview The University Police Department is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for the university community of Cal State San Marcos. The department provides a 24-hour communication center staffed by Police Dispatchers. Police Dispatcher performs initial caller interrogation to determine the appropriate level of service needed in emergency situations and allocates appropriate personnel and resources to incidents.
