Lead Architect (Contract)

Location: Stockholm Country: Sweden Rate: £59.26 - £63.21 per hour
 

Lead Architect/100% Onsite Stockholm/6 months +/Start ASAP

We are now looking for a Lead Architect for our framework agreement customer. The consultant will be part of a team of architects and responsible for the day-to-day operations and IT delivery of the client. The role means that you will be responsible for the architectural control of the operational work and that projects and initiatives follow architectural principles and guidelines and that all deviations and other architectural choices are documented in accordance with current instructions. Furthermore, you will lead the work with the development of architectural descriptions and solution descriptions for decisions in the SAGB (Security and Architecture Governance Board). The consultant will lead and be responsible for the customer's architectural collaboration with suppliers and participate in architectural decision-making forums.

Main tasks:

* Ensure that architecture developed in projects and initiatives is documented in accordance with applicable instructions and complies with governing principles.
* Coordinate contemporary project needs and dependencies and architecture governance to ensure governance is followed.
* Responsible for the architectural management of projects and initiatives so that changes are implemented with high quality and in an appropriate, efficient and sustainable manner in accordance with the client's mission, priorities and business plan (goals and activities).
* Ensure that collaboration in the operational work with other groups/departments/company functions and suppliers takes place on issues that affect different parts of the company or external stakeholders and also maintain internal as well as external relationships.
* Communicate, anchor and concretize relevant information both downwards to the own organisation and upwards as a basis for decisions in a broader perspective.
* Be involved in ensuring that the EA framework and its supporting models, structures and instructions are up-to-date and contain the supporting structures required for each shift/change of the architectural landscape.

Experience & Qualities:

* With relevant post-secondary education and several years of experience in the role of Lead Architect or similar role with at least 8 years of experience.
* Good leadership skills
* Good knowledge in several technical domains
* Understanding of different infrastructure needs in different parts of a business
* Understanding of capability, process, conceptual and information modelling as well as requirements engineering.
* Have overall knowledge of business model design, goal modelling and service design.
* Have overall knowledge of IT capabilities and the current IT landscape, its complexity and the opportunities and limitations this creates in different scenarios.
* Ability to see the big picture
* Experience with modelling tools such as SPARX Enterprise Architect or other tools
* Have a good ability to describe, model, visualise and analyse even complex structures and relationships
* Good ability to identify and understand the organisation's needs from a customer perspective.
* Good knowledge of the rules that apply to the activities that require a permit that the customer conducts.
* Have an ability to understand and relate to the organisation's purpose, goals and strategies
* Knowledge of process models
* Good communication skills
* Ability to lead workshops with both business and IT experts as participants
* Works in a structured way and has an analytical ability
