Project Planner - Nuclear - Cumbria based

Produce fully resourced and cost-loaded Tender and Project programmes developed from commercial estimates, logical diagrams and norms.

Maintain Project programmes on a fixed and regular basis with actual and forecast progress, percent completes and report earned value and KPI's to Senior Management, Project Managers, Engineers, QS's and Cost Engineers as required.

Utilise update data from various sources including Manufacturing Planner, Project Engineers, Buyers and Commercial team.

Liaise with, and feedback to, the Planning Team Leader, Project Planners, Engineers and Managers of progress and impact ensuring all departments have visibility of the programme schedules as required.

Propose solutions to mitigate potential progress issues & conflicts and support the development of an agreed revised workshop plan.

Support the production of the manufacturing forward load when required.

Support the Project team in presenting Project progress at regular client meetings.

Qualifications/Experience Required/Desired/Personal Attributes

Experience of Primavera P6 or Microsoft planning Desirable

Experience with use of MS Office suite. Desirable

Good communicator, proactive problem solver and self-motivated team player with the ability to work on own initiative. Thorough with a high attention to detail.

Experience of manufacturing processes within an Engineering Manufacturing environment is desirable.

An Engineering qualification is desirable but not essential.
