As the Quality Assurance Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of Facilities & Infrastructures related projects & activities, especially in adherence to LC 36 under the MOC.

In return for this, you'll receive a salary of up to £39,000, alongside some great benefits such as Pay overtime on hourly rate of salary + travel, subsidies and stay away fee.

Responsibilities

  • Vet Project Manageable Tasks (MT's) for quality requirements and append necessary Quality Records.
  • Assist in vetting Statement of Requirements (SORs) and determining correct Quality Indicator levels.
  • Compile analysis and trend reports on Quality and Nuclear Revalidation related information.
  • Manage archives and database systems for material certification, certificates of conformity, and supporting documentation.
  • Keep a listing and identify documentation requirements for First Level dossiers.
  • Audit/vet Nuclear and Refuelling procedures and First Level dossiers.
  • Provide support on Quality matters to Engineering Services & Submarine Support Business Units.
  • Support development of Quality Control Plans & Quality Management Plans.
  • Conduct Patrol Inspections.
  • Qualifications and Experience:

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
  • Nuclear Plant Familiarisation Course (Module 1 NPFC, NUC0793).
  • Submarine Quality Assurance Course (SQAC).
