Overview: Emagine Consultancy is seeking a talented Senior KYC Analyst to bolster our team and drive excellence in KYC compliance for our esteemed clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Assessment Mastery: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of high-risk clients, including politically exposed persons (PEPs), complex corporate structures, and entities operating in high-risk jurisdictions.

  • Due Diligence Expertise: Perform enhanced due diligence on client information, utilizing a variety of tools and resources to validate identities, assess beneficial ownership structures, and identify potential red flags or discrepancies.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to KYC and anti-money laundering (AML) compliance, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations.

  • Documentation Proficiency: Prepare detailed KYC documentation, including risk assessment reports, client profiles, and compliance summaries, maintaining meticulous records of all due diligence activities and findings.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including compliance officers, legal teams, and relationship managers, to facilitate the onboarding and ongoing monitoring of high-risk clients while maintaining effective communication and transparency.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Investment Banking or Asset Management KYC experience is essential

  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in KYC compliance within the financial services industry, with a focus on high-risk clients and complex corporate structures.

  • Analytical Aptitude: Strong analytical skills with the ability to critically evaluate complex information, identify patterns and anomalies, and draw actionable insights to support decision-making.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of KYC/AML regulations and guidelines, including but not limited to FATF recommendations, EU directives, and local regulatory requirements.

  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to conducting thorough due diligence and documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely to both internal stakeholders and clients.

  • Team Player Mentality: Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and across organizational boundaries.
